Verlon Biggs (fullname: Verlon Marion Biggs; no nicknames) played from 1965 until 1974 for the New York Jets and Washington Redskins. He played 135 games, starting 55 of those. Born in Moss Point, MS on March 16, 1943, Biggs stands 6'4 and weighs 275 lbs. He attended college at Jackson State. He was drafted by the New York Jets in the 3rd round (20th overall) of the 1965 AFL Draft.
