Valeri Kamensky (full name: Valeri Kamensky; no nicknames) played left wing from 1992 until 2002 for the Quebec Nordiques, Colorado Avalanche, New York Rangers, Dallas Stars and New Jersey Devils. He played for the Nordiques from 1992 - 1995, Avalanche from 1996 - 1999, Rangers from 2000 - 2001, Stars in 2002 and Devils in 2002. Over 11 seasons, he played 637 games, scored 200 goals, and made 301 assists. Born in Voskresensk, Union of Soviet Socialist Republics on April 18, 1966, Kamensky stands 6-2 and weighs 198 lbs. He was drafted by the Quebec Nordiques in the 7th round (129th overall) of the 1988 NHL Entry Draft. Kamensky officially announced retirement on August 10, 2002.
