Val Jansante (fullname: Valerio Richard Jansante; no nicknames) played Defensive End from 1950 until 1951 for the Pittsburgh Steelers and Green Bay Packers. He played 68 games, intercepted passes and recovered 9 fumbles. Born in LaBelle, PA on September 27, 1920, Jansante stands 6'1 and weighs 190 lbs. He attended college at Duquesne, Villanova. He was drafted by the Chi/Pit Cards/Steelers in the 10th round (91st overall) of the 1944 NFL Draft.
