Vada Pinson (full name: Vada Edward Pinson; no nicknames) played outfielder from 1958 until 1975 for the Cincinnati Redlegs, Cincinnati Reds, St. Louis Cardinals, Cleveland Indians, California Angels and Kansas City Royals. He played for the Redlegs from 1958 - 1967, Reds in 1968, Cardinals in 1969, Indians from 1970 - 1971, Angels from 1972 - 1973 and Royals from 1974 - 1975. Over 18 seasons, he played 2469 games, hit 256 home runs, drove in 1366 runs, and stole 305 bases. Born on August 11, 1938 in Memphis, TN, Pinson stood 5' 11" and weighed 170 lb. He attended McClymonds (Oakland, CA) high school. His debut was on April 15, 1958 and he played his final game on September 28, 1975. Over his career, Pinson made $316,500.
