Vaclav Varada (full name: Vaclav Varada; no nicknames) played right wing from 1996 until 2006 for the Buffalo Sabres and Ottawa Senators. He played for the Sabres from 1996 - 2003 and Senators from 2003 - 2006. Over 10 seasons, he played 493 games, scored 58 goals, and made 125 assists. Born in Vsetin, Czechoslovakia on April 26, 1976, Varada stands 6-0 and weighs 208 lbs. He was drafted by the San Jose Sharks in the 4th round (89th overall) of the 1994 NHL Entry Draft.
