Ulf Dahlen (full name: Ulf Dahlen; no nicknames) played left wing from 1988 until 2003 for the New York Rangers, Minnesota North Stars, Dallas Stars, San Jose Sharks, Chicago Blackhawks and Washington Capitals. He played for the Rangers from 1988 - 1990, North Stars from 1990 - 1993, Stars from 1994 - 2003, Sharks from 1994 - 1997, Blackhawks in 1997 and Capitals from 2000 - 2002. Over 14 seasons, he played 966 games, scored 301 goals, and made 354 assists. Born in Ostersund, Sweden on January 12, 1967, Dahlen stands 6-2 and weighs 199 lbs. He was drafted by the New York Rangers in the 1st round (7th overall) of the 1985 NHL Entry Draft. Dahlen officially announced retirement on September 21, 2003.
