Tyrone Christopher Hughes was born on January 14, 1970 in New Orleans, Louisiana and is a former professional football player who appeared in the National Football League. He graduated from St. Augustine High School where he played high school football and also became a track and field athlete.
He played collegiate football at University of Nebraska where he showed excellence in the field and so was drafted to the National Football League as a fifth round pick in the 1993 National Football League Draft. Hughes played for three teams in the National Football League. He started his professional career with the New Orleans Saints also played for the Chicago Bears in 1997. He also had a stint with the Dallas Cowboys in 1998. As an NFL player, he played for the Pro Bowl 1993. Hughes holds the record for most number of kickoff return yards in one game with 304. On October 23, 1994, he achieved the record for having two kick off returns for touchdowns. As a former defensive back in NFL, he impressed many fans and was one of the well-love players in the league.
