He played for the Cubs from 1951 - 1958, Redlegs in 1958 and White Sox from 1958 - 1962. Over 11 seasons, he started 49 games, won 55 games, struck out 574 batters, and had a 4.12 ERA. Born on May 30, 1924 in Brooklyn, NY, Lown stands 6' 0" and weighs 180 lb. He attended Brooklyn (Brooklyn, NY) high school.
