Troy Glaus Memorabilia & Collectibles

California native Troy Glaus is a professional baseball player who is currently with the Atlanta Braves. Glaus went to UCLA where he played baseball. The right-handed player was drafted by the Anaheim Angels in 1998. He was the starting third baseman for the team in the succeeding season. Glaus started getting attention after he was able to make 47 homeruns in 2000. He was named an All-Star for that season. 

Glaus was an integral member in the Anaheim team that went all the way to the World Series. The Angels bested the San Francisco Giants to win their first World Series title. Glaus was named as the Most Valuable Player. Glaus was named into the 2001 and 2003 All-Star game. While with the Anaheim Angels, Glaus also won the Silver Slugger Award for two occasions—in 2000 and 2001. 

In 2005, Glaus was traded to the Arizona Diamondbacks and then to the Toronto Blue Jays at the end of the season. While with the Blue Jays, Glaus was often assigned as a shortstop and finished 10th in the voting for the American League Most Valuable Player award.  

After a short but productive stint with the St. Louis Cardinals, Glaus signed with the Atlanta Braves and is assigned as the starting first baseman for the team.
