Hails from Fallbrook, California, Troy Patrick Cate was born on October 21, 1980.  He is known to be a remarkable pitcher from a great team in the major league baseball, the Calgary Vipers. During his career period, he was able to set a record of 3.38 earned run average as well as 12 strikeouts. He had his official debut in the MLB on May 27, 2007 with the St. Louis Cardinals on a game versus the Washington Nationals. The said team is recognized as a home for several notable players such as Ozzie Smith, a shortstop from Mobile, Alabama, Dizzy Dean, a pitcher from Lucas, Arkansas, as well as Lou Brock, a left fielder from El Dorado, Arkansas.
