Born in Oceanside,California, Trevor John Cahill is a pitcher of the Major League Baseball for the Oakland Athletics. Trevor Cahill stands six feet four inches tall and weighs 225 pounds. He spent his high school in Vista High School in California. He attended the Dartmouth College during his collegiate years and got the chance to be selected in the amateur draft in 2006 by the Oakland Athletics. He signed for the team on the 8th of July 2006. HE has received various honors and awards including the TEX Pitcher of the Year in 2008 and the Major League Baseball All Star Game selection. He has also been a representative for the United States in the men’s division in baseball for the 2008 Beijing Olympics where the team he belonged to win a bronze medal. Through the 2010 season, Trevor Cahill has already posted a win-loss of 28-21, earned run average of 3.76 and 208 strikeouts.
