Trent Yawney (full name: Trent Yawney; no nicknames) played defenseman from 1988 until 1999 for the Chicago Blackhawks, Calgary Flames and St. Louis Blues. He played for the Blackhawks from 1988 - 1999, Flames from 1992 - 1996 and Blues in 1997. Over 12 seasons, he played 593 games, scored 27 goals, and made 102 assists. Born in Hudson Bay, Saskatchewan on September 29, 1965, Yawney stands 6-3 and weighs 195 lbs. He was drafted by the Chicago Blackhawks in the 3rd round (45th overall) of the 1984 NHL Entry Draft. Yawney officially announced retirement on February 24, 1999.
