He played for the Dodgers from 1938 - 1940 and Cubs from 1941 - 1942. Over 5 seasons, he started 42 games, won 32 games, struck out 157 batters, and had a 3.80 ERA. Born on August 8, 1906 in Findlay, OH, Pressnell stood 5' 10" and weighed 175 lb. He attended Findlay (Findlay, OH) (All Transactions) high school.
