Tony Freitas (full name: Antonio Freitas; no nicknames) played pitcher from 1932 until 1936 for the Philadelphia Athletics and Cincinnati Reds. He played for the Athletics from 1932 - 1933 and Reds from 1934 - 1936. Over 5 seasons, he started 63 games, won 25 games, struck out 135 batters, and had a 4.48 ERA. Born on May 5, 1908 in Mill Valley, CA (All Transactions), Freitas stood 5' 8" and weighed 161 lb. He attended high school. His debut was on May 31, 1932 and he played his final game on May 31, 1936.
