Tony Currie (full name: Tony Currie; no nicknames) played right wing from 1978 until 1985 for the St. Louis Blues, Vancouver Canucks and Hartford Whalers. He played for the Blues from 1978 - 1982, Canucks from 1982 - 1984 and Whalers from 1984 - 1985. Over 8 seasons, he played 290 games, scored 92 goals, and made 119 assists. Born in Sydney Mines, Nova Scotia on November 12, 1957, Currie stands 5-11 and weighs 166 lbs. He was drafted by the St. Louis Blues in the 4th round (63rd overall) of the 1977 NHL Amateur Draft.
