Tommy Thomas (full name: Alphonse Thomas; no nicknames) played pitcher from 1931 until 1937 for the Chicago White Sox, Washington Senators, Philadelphia Phillies, St. Louis Browns and Boston Red Sox. He played for the White Sox from 1931 - 1932, Senators from 1932 - 1935, Phillies in 1935, Browns from 1936 - 1937 and Red Sox in 1937. Over 12 seasons, he started 267 games, won 117 games, struck out 736 batters, and had a 4.11 ERA.
