Tommy Byrne (full name: Thomas Joseph Byrne; no nicknames) played pitcher from 1943 until 1957 for the New York Yankees, St. Louis Browns, Washington Senators and Chicago White Sox. He played for the Yankees from 1943 - 1957, Browns from 1951 - 1952, Senators in 1953 and White Sox in 1953.
