Tommie Aaron (full name: Tommie Lee Aaron; no nicknames) played first baseman and leftfielder from 1962 until 1971 for the Milwaukee Braves and Atlanta Braves. He played for the Braves from 1962 - 1965 and Braves from 1968 - 1971. Over 7 seasons, he played 437 games, hit 13 home runs, drove in 102 runs, and stole 9 bases. Born on August 5, 1939 in Mobile, AL, Aaron stood 6' 3" and weighed 190 lb. He attended Allen Institute (Mobile, AL) high school. His debut was on April 10, 1962 and he played his final game on September 26, 1971. Common misspellings of his name include Tommie Lee Tommie tommy Aaron aron arron.
