Tomas Sandstrom (full name: Tomas Sandstrom; no nicknames) played right wing from 1985 until 1999 for the New York Rangers, Los Angeles Kings, Pittsburgh Penguins, Detroit Red Wings and Mighty Ducks of Anaheim. He played for the Rangers from 1985 - 1990, Kings from 1990 - 1994, Penguins from 1994 - 1997, Red Wings in 1997 and Mighty Ducks from 1998 - 1999. Over 15 seasons, he played 983 games, scored 394 goals, and made 462 assists. Born in Jakobstad, Finland on September 4, 1964, Sandstrom stands 6-2 and weighs 205 lbs. He was drafted by the New York Rangers in the 2nd round (36th overall) of the 1982 NHL Entry Draft.
