Tom Van Arsdale (full name: Thomas Arthur Van Arsdale; Tom) played Forward-Guard from 1966 until 1977 for the Detroit Pistons, Cincinnati Royals, Kansas City-Omaha Kings, Philadelphia 76ers, Atlanta Hawks and Phoenix Suns. Over 12 seasons, he played 929 games, scored 14232 points (15.3 ppg) and grabbed 3942 rebounds (4.2 rpg). Arsdale also dished out 2085 assists (2.2 apg), made 230 steals (0.2 spg), and blocked 16 shots (0.0 bpg) during his career. Born in Indianapolis, Indiana on February 22, 1943, Arsdale stands 6-5 and weighs 202 lbs. He attended high school at Manual in Indianapolis, Indiana and college at Indiana University. He was drafted by the Detroit Pistons in the 2nd round (3rd pick, 11th overall) of the 1965 NBA draft.
