Tom Upton (full name: Thomas Herbert Upton; Muscles) played shortstop from 1950 until 1952 for the St. Louis Browns and Washington Senators. He played for the Browns from 1950 - 1951 and Senators in 1952. Over 3 seasons, he played 181 games, hit 2 home runs, drove in 60 runs, and stole 8 bases. Born on December 29, 1926 in Esther, MO, Upton stood 6' 0" and weighed 160 lb. He attended high school. His debut was on April 19, 1950 and he played his final game on April 30, 1952. Common misspellings of his name include Thomas Herbert Muscles tim Tom tommy Upton.
