Tom Gorman (full name: Thomas Patrick Gorman; no nicknames) played pitcher from 1981 until 1987 for the Montreal Expos, New York Mets, Philadelphia Phillies and San Diego Padres. He played for the Expos from 1981 - 1982, Mets from 1982 - 1985, Phillies in 1986 and Padres in 1987. Over 7 seasons, he started 7 games, won 12 games, struck out 144 batters, and had a 4.34 ERA. Born on December 16, 1957 in Portland, OR, Gorman stands 6' 4" and weighs 194 lb. He attended high school and was drafted by the Montreal Expos in the 4th round of the 1980 amateur draft. His debut was on September 2, 1981 and he played his final game on April 24, 1987. Over his career, Gorman made $294,000. Common misspellings of his name include Thomas Patrick tim Tom tommy gordon Gorman.
