About Tom Gola:
Tom Gola (full name: Thomas Joseph Gola; Tom, Mt. All-Around) played Guard-Forward from 1956 until 1966 for the Philadelphia Warriors, San Francisco Warriors and New York Knickerbockers. Over 10 seasons, he played 698 games, scored 7871 points (11.3 ppg) and grabbed 5417 rebounds (7.8 rpg). Gola also dished out 2962 assists (4.2 apg), made steals (0.0 spg), and blocked shots (0.0 bpg) during his career. Born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania on January 13, 1933, Gola stands 6-6 and weighs 205 lbs. He attended high school at LaSalle in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania and college at La Salle University. He was drafted by the Philadelphia Warriors in the 1955 NBA draft (territorial selection). He was inducted into Hall of Fame as Player in 1976.
