Tom Brookens (full name: Thomas Dale Brookens; no nicknames) played third baseman, second baseman and shortstop from 1979 until 1990 for the Detroit Tigers, New York Yankees and Cleveland Indians. He played for the Tigers from 1979 - 1988, Yankees in 1989 and Indians in 1990. Over 12 seasons, he played 1336 games, hit 71 home runs, drove in 477 runs, and stole 86 bases.
