Given the nickname “The Tank” Timothy Thomas, Jr. is a goaltender of the National Hockey League under the Boston Bruins. He played hockey during his college years at the University of Vermont and got drafted by the Quebec Nordiques into the NHL in 1994. He played in the Winter Olympics in Vancouver last 2010 under Team USA. He started as a back up in the 2006-07 season second to Hannu Toivonen.  Thomas replaced Martin Brodeur in the NHL All-Star Game last January 282, 2008. He was given the Vezina Trophy beating Nicklas Backstrom of the Minnesota Wilds and Steve Mason, goaltender of the Blue Jackets.
