Tim Sweeney (full name: Tim Sweeney; no nicknames) played left wing from 1991 until 1998 for the Calgary Flames, Boston Bruins, Mighty Ducks of Anaheim and New York Rangers. He played for the Flames from 1991 - 1992, Bruins from 1993 - 1997, Mighty Ducks from 1994 - 1995 and Rangers in 1998. Over 8 seasons, he played 291 games, scored 55 goals, and made 83 assists. Born in Boston, Massachusetts on April 12, 1967, Sweeney stands 5-11 and weighs 185 lbs. He was drafted by the Calgary Flames in the 6th round (122nd overall) of the 1985 NHL Entry Draft. Sweeney officially announced retirement on October 11, 1998.
