About Tim Higgins:
Tim Higgins (full name: Tim Higgins; no nicknames) played right wing from 1979 until 1989 for the Chicago Black Hawks, New Jersey Devils and Detroit Red Wings. He played for the Black Hawks from 1979 - 1984, Devils from 1984 - 1986 and Red Wings from 1987 - 1989. Over 11 seasons, he played 706 games, scored 154 goals, and made 198 assists. Born in Ottawa, Ontario on February 7, 1958, Higgins stands 6-0 and weighs 185 lbs. He was drafted by the Chicago Blackhawks in the 1st round (10th overall) of the 1978 NHL Amateur Draft.
