About Ticky Burden:

Ticky Burden (full name: Luther D. Burden; Ticky) played Guard from 1976 until 1978 for the Virginia Squires and New York Knickerbockers. Over 3 seasons, he played 134 games, scored 1762 points (13.1 ppg) and grabbed 268 rebounds (2.0 rpg). Burden also dished out 194 assists (1.4 apg), made 151 steals (1.1 spg), and blocked 10 shots (0.1 bpg) during his career. Born in Haines City, Florida on February 28, 1953, Burden stands 6-2 and weighs 185 lbs. He attended high school at Schuyler in Albany, New York and college at University of Utah. He was drafted by the New York Knickerbockers in the 2nd round (8th pick, 26th overall) of the 1975 NBA draft.
