From New Orleans, Louisiana, Thaddeus Charles Young plays as s small forward of the National Basketball Association for the Philadelphia 76ers. He started playing basketball on his eight grade and has received athletic honor for his performance.  Thaddeus was given the nickname Thad or Thad-Yo is six feet 8 inches tall.  He got drafted in 2007 for the NBA Draft under the Philadelphia 76ers and signed a contract on July 11, 2007. His first debut as a professional basketball player was on the 28th of June 2007. He had his first goal and the team won the game against the Charlotte Bobcats. The 2007-08 season was Young’s best season where he is high in points in a game starting at 22 against the Milwaukee Bucks on March 9, 2998. Young received the All Rookie Team award in 2008.

 

Thaddeus’ father also a basketball player of the Jacksonville University and was drafted in 1978 for the Buffalo Braves.
