Tex Ritter (full name: Goebel Franklin Ritter; Tex) played Guard-Forward from 1949 until 1951 for the New York Knickerbockers. Ritter also dished out 145 assists (1.0 apg), made steals (0.0 spg), and blocked shots (0.0 bpg) during his career. Born in Richmond, Kentucky on February 26, 1924, Ritter stands 6-2 and weighs 185 lbs. He attended college at Eastern Kentucky University. He was drafted by the New York Knickerbockers in the 1948 BAA draft.
