Tex Clevenger (full name: Truman Eugene Clevenger; no nicknames) played pitcher from 1954 until 1962 for the Boston Red Sox, Washington Senators, Los Angeles Angels and New York Yankees. He played for the Red Sox in 1954, Senators from 1956 - 1960, Angels in 1961 and Yankees from 1961 - 1962. Over 8 seasons, he started 40 games, won 36 games, struck out 361 batters, and had a 4.18 ERA. Born on July 9, 1932 in Visalia, CA, Clevenger stands 6' 1" and weighs 180 lb. He attended high school.
