Terry Tyler (full name: Terry Christopher Tyler; no nicknames) played Forward-Guard from 1979 until 1989 for the Detroit Pistons, Sacramento Kings and Dallas Mavericks. Over 11 seasons, he played 871 games, scored 8868 points (10.2 ppg) and grabbed 4675 rebounds (5.4 rpg). Tyler also dished out 1039 assists (1.2 apg), made 801 steals (0.9 spg), and blocked 1342 shots (1.5 bpg) during his career. Born in Detroit, Michigan on October 30, 1956, Tyler stands 6-7 and weighs 215 lbs. He attended high school at Northwestern in Detroit, Michigan and college at University of Detroit Mercy. He was drafted by the Detroit Pistons in the 2nd round (1st pick, 23rd overall) of the 1978 NBA draft.
