Terry Dischinger (full name: Terry Gilbert Dischinger; no nicknames) played Forward-Guard from 1963 until 1973 for the Chicago Zephyrs, Baltimore Bullets, Detroit Pistons and Portland Trail Blazers. Over 9 seasons, he played 652 games, scored 9012 points (13.8 ppg) and grabbed 3646 rebounds (5.6 rpg). Dischinger also dished out 1151 assists (1.8 apg), made steals (0.0 spg), and blocked shots (0.0 bpg) during his career. Born in Terre Haute, Indiana on November 21, 1940, Dischinger stands 6-7 and weighs 189 lbs. He attended high school at Garfield in Terre Haute, Indiana and college at Purdue University. He was drafted by the Chicago Zephyrs in the 2nd round (1st pick, 8th overall) of the 1962 NBA draft.
