Ted Savage (full name: Theodore Edmund Savage; no nicknames) played outfielder from 1962 until 1971 for the Philadelphia Phillies, Pittsburgh Pirates, St. Louis Cardinals, Chicago Cubs, Los Angeles Dodgers, Cincinnati Reds, Milwaukee Brewers and Kansas City Royals. He played for the Phillies in 1962, Pirates in 1963, Cardinals from 1965 - 1967, Cubs from 1967 - 1968, Dodgers in 1968, Reds in 1969, Brewers from 1970 - 1971 and Royals in 1971. Over 9 seasons, he played 642 games, hit 34 home runs, drove in 202 runs, and stole 49 bases. Born on February 21, 1937 in Venice, IL, Savage stands 6' 1" and weighs 185 lb.
