Ted Gray (full name: Ted Glenn Gray; no nicknames) played pitcher from 1946 until 1955 for the Detroit Tigers, New York Yankees, Cleveland Indians, Chicago White Sox and Baltimore Orioles. He played for the Tigers from 1946 - 1954, Yankees in 1955, Indians in 1955, White Sox in 1955 and Orioles in 1955. Over 9 seasons, he started 162 games, won 59 games, struck out 687 batters, and had a 4.37 ERA. Born on December 31, 1924 in Detroit, MI, Gray stands 5' 11" and weighs 175 lb. He attended Highland Park (Highland Park, MI) high school. His debut was on May 15, 1946 and he played his final game on September 8, 1955. Common misspellings of his name include Ted Glenn Ted teddy Gray grey.
