Tate George (full name: Tate Claude George; no nicknames) played Guard from 1991 until 1995 for the New Jersey Nets and Milwaukee Bucks. Over 4 seasons, he played 177 games, scored 736 points (4.2 ppg) and grabbed 180 rebounds (1.0 rpg). George also dished out 325 assists (1.8 apg), made 76 steals (0.4 spg), and blocked 11 shots (0.1 bpg) during his career. Born in Newark, New Jersey on May 29, 1968, George stands 6-5 and weighs 190 lbs. He attended high school at Union Catholic Regional in Scotch Plains, New Jersey and college at University of Connecticut. He was drafted by the New Jersey Nets in the 1st round (22nd pick, 22nd overall) of the 1990 NBA draft.
