About Swen Nater:
Swen Nater (full name: Swen Erick Nater; no nicknames) played Center from 1974 until 1984 for the Virginia Squires, San Antonio Spurs, New York Nets, Milwaukee Bucks, Buffalo Braves, San Diego Clippers and Los Angeles Lakers. Over 11 seasons, he played 722 games, scored 8980 points (12.4 ppg) and grabbed 8340 rebounds (11.6 rpg). Nater also dished out 1235 assists (1.7 apg), made 364 steals (0.5 spg), and blocked 427 shots (0.6 bpg) during his career. Born in Denhelder, Netherlands on January 14, 1950, Nater stands 6-11 and weighs 240 lbs. He attended high school at Wilson in Long Beach, California and college at University of California, Los Angeles. He was drafted by the Milwaukee Bucks in the 1st round (16th pick, 16th overall) of the 1973 NBA draft.
