About Stu Barnes:

Stu Barnes (full name: Stu Barnes; no nicknames) played center from 1992 until 2008 for the Winnipeg Jets, Florida Panthers, Pittsburgh Penguins, Buffalo Sabres and Dallas Stars. He played for the Jets from 1992 - 1994, Panthers from 1994 - 1997, Penguins from 1997 - 1999, Sabres from 1999 - 2003 and Stars from 2003 - 2008. Over 16 seasons, he played 1136 games, scored 261 goals, and made 336 assists. Born in Spruce Grove, Alberta on December 25, 1970, Barnes stands 5-11 and weighs 182 lbs. He was drafted by the Winnipeg Jets in the 1st round (4th overall) of the 1989 NHL Entry Draft. Barnes officially announced retirement on August 28, 2008.
