About Steve Van Buren:
Steve Van Buren (fullname: Stephen W. Van Buren; no nicknames) played from 1950 until 1951 for the Philadelphia Eagles. He played 83 games, starting 48 of those. Born in La Ceiba, Honduras on December 28, 1920, Buren stands 6'0 and weighs 200 lbs. He attended college at LSU. He was drafted by the Philadelphia Eagles in the 1st round (5th overall) of the 1944 NFL Draft. Buren was inducted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame in 1965.
