Steve Tambellini (full name: Steve Tambellini; no nicknames) played center from 1979 until 1988 for the New York Islanders, Colorado Rockies, New Jersey Devils, Calgary Flames and Vancouver Canucks. He played for the Islanders from 1979 - 1981, from 1981 - 1982, Devils in 1983, Flames from 1984 - 1985 and Canucks from 1986 - 1988. Over 10 seasons, he played 553 games, scored 160 goals, and made 150 assists. Born in Trail, British Columbia on May 14, 1958, Tambellini stands 6-0 and weighs 190 lbs. He was drafted by the New York Islanders in the 1st round (15th overall) of the 1978 NHL Amateur Draft.
