Steve Konroyd (full name: Steve Konroyd; no nicknames) played defenseman from 1981 until 1995 for the Calgary Flames, New York Islanders, Chicago Blackhawks, Hartford Whalers, Detroit Red Wings and Ottawa Senators. He played for the Flames from 1981 - 1995, Islanders from 1986 - 1989, Blackhawks from 1989 - 1992, Whalers from 1992 - 1993, Red Wings from 1993 - 1994 and Senators in 1994. Over 15 seasons, he played 895 games, scored 41 goals, and made 195 assists. Born in Scarborough, Ontario on February 10, 1961, Konroyd stands 6-1 and weighs 195 lbs. He was drafted by the Calgary Flames in the 2nd round (39th overall) of the 1980 NHL Entry Draft.
