Steve Dillard (full name: Stephen Bradley Dillard; no nicknames) played second baseman, third baseman and shortstop from 1975 until 1982 for the Boston Red Sox, Detroit Tigers, Chicago Cubs and Chicago White Sox. He played for the Red Sox from 1975 - 1977, Tigers in 1978, Cubs from 1979 - 1981 and White Sox in 1982. Over 8 seasons, he played 438 games, hit 13 home runs, drove in 148 runs, and stole 15 bases. Born on February 8, 1951 in Memphis, TN, Dillard stands 6' 1" and weighs 180 lb. He attended Saltillo (Saltillo, MS) high school and was drafted by the Boston Red Sox in the 2nd round of the 1972 amateur draft.
