Stanislav Mikhailovich Chistov is one if the ice hockey icons who came from the Soviet Union. He was born on April 17, 1983 and is presently affiliated with the Kontinental Hockey League playing under the Mettalurg Magnitogorsk. He had been with several teams as well in the National Hockey League and had also been starting to leave such a remarkable legacy.

 

Stanislav Chistov is seen to have his humble beginnings in Georgetown in Ontario, Canada. He worked under the Georgetown Riders that time in the junior division. Since then, Chistov had already been exposed to a number of hockey opportunities which eventually helped him hone in skills and also fed his passion for such sport. He was with the Avangard Omsk in 1992 where he played for their group in the Super League of Russian Hockey. Later on, he was given his big break in the nationals when he was chosen by the Anaheim Ducks during an amateur draft that was done in the year 2001. Among the Duck’s lineup of exceptional players include Jari Kurri and Paul Kariya.

 

Stanislav Chistov had also been with other amazing groups such as the Boston Bruins and also the Salavat Yulaev. It was in 2006 that he transferred to the Bruins in exchange for another player. After such time, he was given a slot in a Russian league team. However, in 2008, he had not been given much priority in the Bruins when he decided to have a comeback in the said team.
