Stan Bahnsen (full name: Stanley Raymond Bahnsen; Bahnsen Burner) played pitcher from 1966 until 1982 for the New York Yankees, Chicago White Sox, Oakland Athletics, Montreal Expos, California Angels and Philadelphia Phillies. He played for the Yankees from 1966 - 1971, White Sox from 1972 - 1975, Athletics from 1975 - 1977, Expos from 1977 - 1981, Angels in 1982 and Phillies in 1982. Over 16 seasons, he started 327 games, won 146 games, struck out 1359 batters, and had a 3.60 ERA. Born on December 15, 1944 in Council Bluffs, IA, Bahnsen stands 6' 2" and weighs 185 lb. He attended Abraham Lincoln (Council Bluffs, IA) high school and was drafted by the New York Yankees in the 4th round of the 1965 amateur draft. His debut was on September 9, 1966 and he played his final game on October 2, 1982. Over his career, Bahnsen made $206,000.
