Speedy Claxton (full name: Craig Claxton; Speedy) played Guard from 2002 until 2009 for the Philadelphia 76ers, San Antonio Spurs, Golden State Warriors, New Orleans Hornets, New Orleans/Oklahoma City Hornets and Atlanta Hawks. Over 7 seasons, he played 334 games, scored 3096 points (9.3 ppg) and grabbed 830 rebounds (2.5 rpg). Claxton also dished out 1441 assists (4.3 apg), made 503 steals (1.5 spg), and blocked 40 shots (0.1 bpg) during his career. Born in Queens, New York on May 8, 1978, Claxton stands 5-11 and weighs 166 lbs. He attended high school at Christ the King in Middle Village, New York and college at Hofstra University. He was drafted by the Philadelphia 76ers in the 1st round (20th pick, 20th overall) of the 2000 NBA draft.
