Spec Shea (full name: Francis Joseph Shea; The Naugatuck Nugget) played pitcher from 1947 until 1955 for the New York Yankees and Washington Senators. He played for the Yankees from 1947 - 1951 and Senators from 1952 - 1955. Over 8 seasons, he started 118 games, won 56 games, struck out 361 batters, and had a 3.80 ERA.
