Sidney Wicks (full name: Sidney Wicks; no nicknames) played Forward-Center from 1972 until 1981 for the Portland Trail Blazers, Boston Celtics and San Diego Clippers. Over 10 seasons, he played 760 games, scored 12803 points (16.8 ppg) and grabbed 6620 rebounds (8.7 rpg). Wicks also dished out 2437 assists (3.2 apg), made 592 steals (0.8 spg), and blocked 431 shots (0.6 bpg) during his career. Born in Los Angeles, California on September 19, 1949, Wicks stands 6-8 and weighs 225 lbs. He attended high school at Hamilton in Los Angeles, California and college at University of California, Los Angeles. He was drafted by the Portland Trail Blazers in the 1st round (2nd pick, 2nd overall) of the 1971 NBA draft.
