Sidney Green (full name: Sidney Green; no nicknames) played Forward-Center from 1984 until 1993 for the Chicago Bulls, Detroit Pistons, New York Knickerbockers, Orlando Magic, San Antonio Spurs and Charlotte Hornets. Over 10 seasons, he played 679 games, scored 5080 points (7.5 ppg) and grabbed 4128 rebounds (6.1 rpg). Green also dished out 635 assists (0.9 apg), made 369 steals (0.5 spg), and blocked 223 shots (0.3 bpg) during his career. Born in Brooklyn, New York on January 4, 1961, Green stands 6-9 and weighs 220 lbs. He attended high school at Thomas Jefferson in Brooklyn, New York and college at University of Nevada, Las Vegas. He was drafted by the Chicago Bulls in the 1st round (5th pick, 5th overall) of the 1983 NBA draft.
