Si Johnson (full name: Silas Kenneth Johnson; no nicknames) played pitcher from 1932 until 1947 for the Cincinnati Reds, St. Louis Cardinals, Philadelphia Phillies, Philadelphia Blue Jays and Boston Braves. He played for the Reds from 1932 - 1936, Cardinals from 1936 - 1938, Phillies from 1940 - 1946, Blue Jays in 1943 and Braves from 1946 - 1947. Over 17 seasons, he started 272 games, won 101 games, struck out 840 batters, and had a 4.09 ERA. Born on October 5, 1906 in Danway, IL (All Transactions), Johnson stood 5' 11" and weighed 185 lb.
