Upon completion of his rookie years with the Western Hockey League, he was promoted to the National Hockey League where the
Nashville Predators drafted him in the second round. He signed a three year contract with the Predators and made his debut as a professional hockey player of the NHL on the 6th of January 2004 against the
Detroit Red Wings. In a game against the
Colorado Avalanche, Shea Webber suffered an injury that got his kneecap dislocated. He has received awards as a representative of Canada in the Winter Olympics game in Vancouver where he got a gold medal in 2010.
